Terms

Terms for using the TurkDutch Marketplace platform.

These terms set the baseline rules for using the platform, publishing business information, responding to inquiries, and handling non-public data responsibly.

Core rules

  • Use the platform for legitimate business discovery and communication. Do not use it to scrape, harvest, spam, or repurpose other organizations' information for unrelated marketing.
  • Treat non-public information as confidential. Private inquiries, draft content, and account-area information should only be used for the collaboration or evaluation they were shared for.
  • Do not publish confidential material in public fields. Public profiles and listings are meant to be visible to visitors, search engines, and potential partners.

If a proposed collaboration involves sensitive commercial information, use a separate NDA or written agreement before sharing details beyond what should appear on the public platform.

1. Accepting these terms

By accessing or using TurkDutch Marketplace, you agree to these Terms and to the Privacy Policy. If you use the platform on behalf of an organization, you represent that you are authorized to do so.

2. What the platform does

  • TurkDutch Marketplace helps organizations in the Netherlands and Turkey discover each other, publish listings, and exchange initial business inquiries.
  • The platform is not a broker, escrow agent, law firm, customs adviser, or party to any transaction formed between users.
  • Each organization remains responsible for its own due diligence, legal compliance, export controls, sanctions checks, negotiations, and contract terms.

3. Accounts and accuracy of information

  • Use accurate, current, and business-relevant information when registering and managing an account.
  • Keep account credentials secure and do not share access outside authorized personnel in your organization.
  • You are responsible for activity carried out through your account unless you promptly report unauthorized use.

4. Public profiles, listings, and submission rights

  • Organization profiles and listings submitted for approval may become publicly visible once approved.
  • You may submit only information you have the right to publish, including logos, descriptions, contact details, and media.
  • Do not place trade secrets, private deal terms, or third-party confidential information into public profile or listing fields.
  • You grant TurkDutch Marketplace a limited right to host, review, format, and display submitted content for platform operation and moderation.

5. Confidentiality and permitted use of non-public information

  • Private inquiry data must be handled carefully. If you receive a sender's name, email address, message, or related commercial context through the platform, use it only to review, respond to, or manage that specific business opportunity or relationship.
  • No resale or misuse. You may not sell, publish, forward, scrape, enrich, or reuse non-public platform data for unrelated marketing, lead generation, data brokerage, or competitive intelligence without clear permission or another lawful basis.
  • Keep access limited. Share non-public information only with people inside your organization or advisers who reasonably need it and who are themselves bound to confidentiality.
  • Public content is different. Information intentionally published in approved public profiles and listings is not treated as confidential by the platform.

6. Prohibited conduct

  • No impersonation, deceptive identity claims, or false representations about your organization, approvals, products, or capabilities.
  • No unlawful, infringing, abusive, discriminatory, or misleading content.
  • No spam, bulk solicitation, malware, credential attacks, or attempts to interfere with the platform's normal operation.
  • No automated scraping, systematic copying, or creation of competing directories or marketing databases from platform content.

7. Moderation, removal, and suspension

TurkDutch Marketplace may review submissions, request clarifications, refuse publication, remove content, or suspend access where needed to protect users, enforce these Terms, respond to complaints, or address legal or security concerns.

8. Privacy and limited processor use

  • TurkDutch Marketplace does not sell user personal data or disclose it for third-party advertising.
  • The platform may use limited service providers to host infrastructure, manage authentication, store records, and send transactional email.
  • How the platform handles personal information is described in the Privacy Policy, which forms part of these Terms.

9. Disclaimers and business risk

  • We aim to support a credible marketplace, but we cannot guarantee the accuracy, completeness, financial reliability, or legal compliance of every profile, listing, or inquiry.
  • Users are responsible for their own commercial judgment and should use additional verification, references, and written agreements where appropriate.
  • If a collaboration requires stricter confidentiality, intellectual property protection, or procurement terms, those matters should be handled in a separate agreement between the parties.

10. Updates and contact

We may update these Terms as the platform evolves. Continued use after an update means you accept the revised terms from the effective date shown on this page.

Questions about these Terms can be sent to hello@turkdutch.com or through the contact page.
